Who are lessons designed for?

NSB Driver Training offers lessons for beginners, nervous drivers, and refresher learners, focused around Douglas and the south.

When can I start learning to drive on the Isle of Man?

You can start at age 16, provided you hold a valid Isle of Man provisional licence and display L-plates.

What happens after I pass my test?

For the first year after passing, you must display red R-plates and follow the Isle of Man 50mph speed restriction.

Do you cover my area?

NSB Driver Training is based in Ballasalla and commutes to Douglas and the south. If you are coming from further north or west, lessons can still be arranged by meeting in Douglas.
